After owning a 2 door sports car pretty much my whole life, the plan was to buy a car that had 2 doors, 4 seats to accommodate my twin boys, comfortable, quick, and had to be manual. Originally bought at the end of 04, this car had everything I was looking for. The original plan was to keep it bone stock, but modding was something I knew I couldn't stay away from. Thats when I found out aftermarket support was basically non-existent for the 7th gen accord and after a year, had every bolt on available, but was still starving for more power. I wanted some sort of F/I, but there was not a single TC/SC kit available for the 03+ v6 accord. My only hope was to fit a 04-06 Acura TL Comptech supercharger, which nobody knew for sure would work. My only hurdles was a custom radiator and some sort of fuel management, which was accomplished with a greddy e-manage, becoming the first 7th gen supercharged accord around. After many other mods, I eventually swapped the entire drive train for a 3.2 TL J32A3 with LSD 6spd and the rest is history. 3/4 of my money spent went under the hood and the rest of it for everything else. My goal for the car was to have a classy simple look, with a touch of aggressiveness and be a total sleeper.
I'm eventually going to install a HBP and a couple of more poweradders here and there, but the car is pretty much done. It's my DD for know, so reliability is my number one priority.
First, I would like to give thanks to the heads here at V6P for choosing my car for ROTM. I'm very proud and honored to win with so many nice accords out there. I'd like to thank my fiancee for understanding and supporting me in having this expensive hobby of mine. I would like to thank V6p of course and everybody here for helping me out with their knowledge and support that transformed my car what it is today.y
